Trust & provenance

Consent before creation.

Indian courts have been clear: an actor's voice is part of their identity, and making a tool available that recreates it without permission is itself a violation. We built the review step because of that, not in spite of it.

What we decline

Some work should not be produced.

If a submission falls into any of these, we tell you why and it doesn't get produced. For a production house that is the point: the work we turn away is the work that would have come back as a notice.

01

Recreating a recognisable actor's voice without that actor's consent on file

02

Footage the requester doesn't hold the rights to

03

Voices of public figures for content they haven't agreed to

04

Any request where the provenance of the source audio can't be established
